Location
Located on the main island of Mahé, on the northern tip of Beau Vallon Bay, the five-star luxury hotel Northolme Resort & Spa offers a dramatic view of the beach and the ocean. First built before World War I, the hotel was entirely renovated and has kept its typical charm while gaining luxury, comfort and elegance. The airport of Mahé is at about a 25-minute drive from the hotel.
Rooms
The traditional architecture of the 40 villas exudes an enticing colonial charm. Built on stilts, the villas are furbished in a contemporary style with a lot of wood ; the atmosphere is warm and elegantly casual. Spacious (100 square meters), all the villas feature a living room and a bedroom fitted with a king size bed, a bathroom and a roomy veranda with an outdoor bed where guests can peacefully enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean. The villas are also fitted with a LCD TV, a CD and DVD player and a telephone.

Gastronomy
With a fantastic view of the bay, the Hilltop Restaurant features a breakfast and dinner buffet for half-board guests. Les Cocotiers is an à la carte restaurant offering an extensive choice of Creole and international dishes as well as seafood specialties. The Ocean View Bar serves snacks as well as a wide array of alcoholic and soft drinks. In the main building, The Lobby Lounge serves drinks and light dishes.

Sports and Wellness
Divided into two bays, the 180-meter-long white sandy beach is an ideal place for snorkeling. A water sports center (windsurfing, water-skiing, catamaran), a fitness center, a spa and a diving center are also at guests’ disposal. Excursions and boat cruises can be organized upon request, at extra charge. Situated right on the reef, the Duniye Spa offers an interesting choice of treatments, manicure, pedicure as well as a Relax Lounge and a Yoga Pavilion. In the evening, the hotel entertains its guests with typical dances shows and presentations of local traditions.
