With its colonial design, this magnificent resort is situated near Belle Mare, on the Eastern coast of Mauritius and stretches along a beautiful white sandy beach. The airport is at about an hour drive from the hotel ( helicopter transfers are available for a fee).

Spacious ( from 54 to 164 square meters) and luxuriously fitted, all the rooms and suites feature a balcony, a loggia or a terrace, air-conditioning, a fan, a living area (separate living room in the suites), a dressing room, a satellite TV, a DVD and CD player, a mini bar, tea and coffee machines, an electronic safe, a direct dial telephone with personal voice mail as well as a roomy marble bathroom fitted with a separate bath, a shower and a hair-dryer. Four categories of suites, all very spacious and elegantly decorated, are available. Gourmet guests will be seduced by the three restaurants of The Residence. The Dining Room has breakfast and lunch buffets ; in the evening, it offers à la carte European and local specialties. In an idyllic setting, The Verandah serves light dishes by the pool. At The Plantation, guests will relish Creole cuisine and seafood specialties for lunch and dinner while admiring the magnificent view of the ocean. In this enchanting decor, live entertainment takes place in the evening, several times a week. The Bar serves refreshing cocktails.
Sports and Wellness
The hotel offers an extensive choice of complimentary water activities such as : water-skiing, surfing, Hobie Cats, canoe tours, snorkelling, pedalos, glass-bottom boat excursions and line fishing. Other activities can be arranged for a fee : deep sea fishing, catamaran cruises, diving, boat excursions, horseback-riding, underwater or aquatic tours. The Residence also has a swimming pool with a separate children’s pool, three floodlit tennis courts, volleyball facilities, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a steam bath and a fitness center. The Sanctuary, the hotel spa, will pamper your body and your soul with different treatments in a very relaxing decor inspired by the Japanese “zen” philosophy. Products of the exclusive cosmetic label La Prairie from Switzerland are used in the spa.
