Location
The luxury hotel Le Saint Géran is situated on a small peninsula on the eastern coast of Mauritius, close to Belle Mare. The resort hosts exquisite rooms and suites in the heart of lush tropical gardens studded with goldfish ponds, small streams and pretty places. Le Saint Géran is fringed by more than a mile of immaculate sand beach where guests can peacefully sunbathe and relax. The hotel is at a one-hour drive from the airport (transfer by helicopter available – fees upon request) and 40 minutes from the capital Port Louis.

The Junior Suites and Ocean Suites, as well as the magnificent Villa are all appointed with exquisite taste and sense of detail in authentic Mauritian colonial style. Amongst numerous amenities, all the suites feature a spacious balcony or a terrace with view of the sea or the lagoon, air-conditioning and fan, a living area, a dressing room, satellite TV, DVD player, CDs and DVDs lending, access to Internet and data port, iPod station, Nespresso coffee machine, mini bar, electronic in-room safe, direct dial telephone with personal voice mail. Gastronomy
Le Saint Géran hosts three restaurants and four bars. Surrounding the pool with a beautiful view of the ocean, La Terrasse offers a large choice of local and international dishes in a tropical decor. With views of the lagoon and the sugarcane-clad mountains, the à la carte restaurant Rasoi by Vineet serves refined Indian specialties. The hotel also features a French gourmet restaurant and offers as well local specialties. In the four bars of the resort, guests will enjoy refreshing cocktails and snacks until late at night.
Sports and Wellness
An extensive variety of water sports are free for the hotel residents: water-skiing, windsurfing, Hobie Cats, canoe tours, snorkelling, mono hull Lasers, pedalos, excursions with a glass-bottom boat, small-game fishing. Le Saint Géran also features a big swimming-pool, five floodlit tennis courts (lessons are available against fee), volleyball, badminton, pony riding, water polo, table tennis and croquet facilities. Payable facilities are also available, such as : deep-sea fishing, catamaran cruises, diving, boat excursions and banana-boat rides, horse riding and mountain bike rides.
The hotel also boasts a 9-hole golf course where professionals and beginners can play whenever they wish. Lessons are also available (extra charge).
Le Saint Géran also has a fitness center and its own spa, the “One & Only Spa” fitted with Espa products. Here, guests can peacefully enjoy various spa treatments or relax in a sauna, a jacuzzi or a steam bath.
