Location
This elegant resort, member of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" stretches along one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, on the preserved southern coast near Bel Ombre. The airport is at about 35 kilometers and the capital city Port Louis is at a 75-minute drive from the resort. Le Telfair Resort is ideally situated between the Indian Ocean, its own 18-hole golf course stretching along a small mountain and the Citronnier river which softly flows through the resort.
Rooms
Beautifully designed in a colonial style, the 158 rooms of the hotel are scattered in 20 independent villas. Very spacious (54 m2 is the “smallest” surface area), they all feature a floor-to-ceiling window, a veranda (with a view of the ocean or the river), air-conditioning and fan, a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, a hair-dryer and separate toilets, an in-room safe, a mini bar, tea and coffee machines and a satellite TV. The suites also have CD and DVD players. Laptops and fax machines can be borrowed upon request.

The hotel has five restaurants and bars. From Creole specialties to international haute cuisine, every taste will be satisfied ! Guests who want to dine in a special atmosphere will be seduced by the Château de Bel Ombre – built at the end of the 19th century, this elegant place borders the golf course and exudes colonial charm.

Children aged 2 to 12 will enjoy the imaginative and entertaining programs of the Kids Club, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Special menus as well as a separate pool are available for the younger guests.
