Passport and visa requirement...

A valid passport is required to visit the Maldives. Passports must be valid for at least three months following the date of entry. Canadians must also be in possession of an onward or return ticket. Tourist visas are issued upon arrival free of charge and are valid for 30 days.

Important information:
- Visitors must carry doctor’s prescriptions for any medicines brought.
- Passengers must not carry any type of alcohol when travelling to the Maldives.
