Location
Since March 2010, Beach House Maldives, A Waldorf Astoria Resort is part of the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. The northernmost island of the Maldives is located in the Haa Alifu atoll and impresses with its lush vegetation. The individual villas blend harmoniously with the landscape. It takes 50 minutes from the international airport to fly to Hanimadhoo and from there another 45 minutes by speedboat to the island. You can also decide to have a transfer by seaplane which takes 75 minutes.
Rooms
Guests can choose from 83 villas. They all feature a private plunge pool. In order to fully benefit of the gorgeous views and soothing sounds of the ocean, all villas have floor to ceiling doors which can be fully opened. The thatched roofs as well as the local and fragrant wood used to built the villas, mirror the island nature. All rooms have air conditioning, safe, hairdryer, satellite TV, LCD screen, telephone, external bathroom, CD/DVD player, espresso machine, pillow menu, amenities and vanity table.
Gastronomy
Guests can enjoy dining in three restaurants and three bars. In addition, the Beach House Maldives staff will be happy to arrange an individual dinner on the beach, in the privacy of your villa or on a small offshore island.

Sports and Wellness
Active guests can work out on the modern fitness center equipment or play tennis on the floodlit court. Moreover, badminton, beach volley ball, table tennis, billiard, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and canoeing are possible free of charge. Water skiing, jet skiing and deep sea fishing are offered for a fee. The house reef is located about 70 meters away from the island and is ideal for snorkeling. A PADI diving school also in the resort proposes all levels of certification. The Modun Spa offers relaxation with new concept aromatherapy, Ayurveda and Asian treatments. Ten treatment rooms are available as well as sauna, steam room and beauty salon.
