Located on the eponymous coral island in Southern Male Atoll, the Velassaru Maldives opened in March 2009 after undertaking an extensive renovation program. Four restaurants offer various culinary delights : “Vela” serves international cuisine ; guests will enjoy Mediterranean dishes at “Pomegranate” and the live-cooking stations of “Vilunoo” offer Asian, European and Indian delicacies as well as grilled specialties. At “Fen” bar, guests can savour light dishes all day long ; in the evening, they will enjoy creative cocktails as well as a beautiful view of the infinity pool and the Indian Ocean. Upon request, the hotel team will gladly arrange a private dinner in the villa or on the beach.
