Location
The Medhufushi Island Resort is located in Meemu Atoll and was reopened in 2007 after an extensive renovation plan. Meemu atoll is located about 130 kilometers south of Male and offers a quiet, serene and authentic island surrounded by a crystal clear lagoon. With 1000 meters in length and 200 meters wide, Medhufushi Island is one of the larger islands of the Maldives. This active-elegant resort is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable dream vacation.

There is a total of 112 villas of different categories scattered throughout the island. They are elegantly designed with high-quality teak furniture and equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, telephone, satellite TV, CD player, tea and coffee facilities, bathroom, hairdryer and an outdoor shower.

Gastronomy
The two restaurants and bar offer fine dining in a beautiful tropical setting. For special occasions, individual menus can be served directly on the beach or in the Sunset Pavilion.

Sports and Wellness
The island is ideal for travelers looking for both relaxation and sports, particularly diving. The dive sites are not crowded and the outer reef can be reached in just 20 minutes. In the diving center Werner Lau, there are various courses available and professional equipment. Also: swimming pool, gym, catamaran sailing, canoeing, water skiing, banana boat, surfing (4 nice waves close to the hotel), table tennis and volleyball. The exclusive Overwater Spa features a variety of relaxing treatments.
