Proud member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux association, Le Taha’a Island Resort is situated on Motu Tautau, facing the incredible turquoise lagoon on one side and offers an outstanding view of Bora Bora on the ocean side. It is one of the most luxurious resorts in French Polynesia. The Raiatea airport is only 35 minutes away by boat.

Rooms

There are 48 Over Water Suites and 12 Beach Villas to choose from and all are most spacious, offering some of the best accommodations in the South Pacific region. Facilities include tropical gardens, spacious lounges and terraces as well as large decks that give direct access to the lagoon. All suites and villas enjoy air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathrooms with tub and shower, hairdryer, Cable TV, Movie channel, CD player, Internet access, mini bar, private sun deck, terrace and a safe.

Gastronomy

There are plenty of options for pampering the most discerning palate at the resort.
La Plage Restaurant: perfect for lighter fare located near the pool and the seaside.
Vanille: known for providing traditional Polynesian cuisine and offers seafood and barbecue.
Ohiri: for the best in fusion cuisine, combines French influences with Polynesian and other international flavours from around the world.
You have two bars to choose from. Manuia is perfect for enjoying an exotic drink throughout the day. The Tehotu Bar is open in the evening and is a great place to stop in for a drink before dinner.

Sports and Wellness

The list of sporting activities that you can enjoy here is long. There are racket sports like tennis and ping-pong, you can play beach volleyball or relax in the outdoor swimming pool. Of course, many water sports are available and you can go snorkeling or scuba diving while the option to rent watercraft is also available. There are kayaks, outrigger canoes and windsurfers available among others. There is a Fitness Center and the spa services here are simply excellent and allow you to relax and truly enjoy this island paradise.

Miscellaneous

There are boutiques on the hotel property that will provide you with shopping for local products, especially the black pearls that the area is known for. An activities desk and excursion desk will set you up with whatever you want to experience. There is even a helicopter pad for those who want to get a bird’s eye view of paradise.
